Ms. Simpson-Gardner holds a degree in Human Resource Training and Development with a minor in Labor and Employment Laws from Oakland University (1996). Her passion for events led her to complete the Event Planning Design and Management program at Western Michigan University in 2013. In 2020, she earned two of the industry’s most prestigious credentials—becoming a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) through the Events Industry Council and a Digital Event Strategist (DES) through the Professional Convention Management Association—positioning her to operate at the highest level of excellence in the meetings and events industry.

In addition to leading Infinity Consulting Services, Sonjia is the founder of Jr./Sr. Entrepreneurs, Inc., a nonprofit established in 2011 that provides youth with innovative alternatives to traditional post-high school options, such as college or military service.
